MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING PIPE

PURPOSE:To obtain a pipe repairing material excellent in workability by providing a fluid impermeable film on the outer periphery of a tubular fiber sheet layer impregnated with a composition containing unsaturated polyester or vinyl ester, a polymerizable monomer and an isocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:A pipe repairing material consists of a tubular fiber sheet layer 1 impregnated with a composition containing unsaturated polyester or vinyl ether, a polymerizable monomer and an isocyanate compound and the fluid impermeable film 2 provided to the outer periphery of the layer 1 and is formed in a tubular shape so that the fiber sheet layer 1 becomes inside and the fluid impermeable film 2 becomes outside. The repairing material formed in a tubular shape is fixed to the end part of a pipe 3 to be repaired by a bundling material 5 and the fiber sheet layer 1 is pushed in the pipe through a roll 9 by the pressure of water 4 while reversal speed is controlled by the rope 8 connected to a terminal seal part 7 to be reversed and water is sucked and hot water of 80 deg.C is sent to cure the impregnated composition.
