<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a thermal insulating material from being hindered or prevent either a main body or an installing plate from being floated up when the main body is engaged with the installing plate by a method wherein a fixing member for pushing the thermal insulating material is disposed at a rear surface of a main body of an air conditioner and then a hook piece to be engaged with a supporting piece for the installing plate is formed at this fixing member. CONSTITUTION:A thermal insulating material is fixed to a rear surface of a casing 45 of a main body 1 of an air conditioner by a fixing member 36 and small screws 37 for fixing this fixing member. The fixing member 36 is formed with a circumference edge 40 contacting with an installing plate 39, a cavity 41 having a head of a small screw 37 stored therein and a hook piece 43 to be hooked to a hook piece 42 of the installing plate 39. Since the thermal insulating member 38 is pushed with the fixing member 36 to the casing 45 of the main body 1, the thermal insulating member 38 is prevented from being struck against the installing plate 39 which is rear of the fixing member 36. In addition, the hook piece 43 formed at the fixing member 36 is hooked with the hook piece 42 of the installing plate 39, the main body 1 is installed in the installing plate 39 and then the fixing member 40 can be applied as the pressing member for the thermal insulating member or for the hook member for the installing plate 39 for the main body 1.</p> |
