This invention relates to a device used for sampling specimen cells from the endometrium when cytodiagnosis is performed for the cancer of the uterus, particularly the cancer of the uterine body. A flexible loop-like chafing section equipped with a blade (9) for scratching of the cells is formed at the tip of a handle (1) inserted slidably and rotatably into a tube so that it can come into and go out freely from the tube when the handle is slid and desired cells can be sampled safely without fail from the entire endometrium of the uterus in the uterine cavity.
