Fold plates for buckle fold machines - allow change in fold length without interrupting paper flow

The fold plates for a printing machine have controllable paper stops (3) which can be adjusted during the work process. The variable stops project into the fold plates from outside and can be brought selectively into the work position. One or more single or double rocker arms (2) or several magnets can be attached top and bottom on the flat sides of the plates across the running direction of the paper. The rocker arms or magnets can be displaced by a shaft operated mechanically or electromagnetically. USE/ADVANTAGE - Different fold lengths can be set without interrupting the paper flow and thus running of the machine.
