A photometering apparatus of a camera is disclosed having a predetermined pattern of divided measuring zones 18 upon which light is made incident and from which corresponding signals are output, a picture plane 13, and includes a picture plane size varying device 21 (204, 205) which varies the size of the picture plane 13 between a large size and a small size, divided photometric elements which set a plurality of the divided measuring zones corresponding to the large size picture plane selected by the picture plane size varying device to calculate an object brightness within the set measuring zones, and a measuring zone selecting device which selects appropriate outputs of the measuring zones when the small size picture plane is selected. <IMAGE> |
