<p>The invention relates to a laxative composition containing lactulose, in which anhydrous lactulose is incorporated in a vehicle, also anhydrous, consisting of a mixture of pharmaceutically acceptable purified paraffinic hydrocarbons, this vehicle having a melting point of between 45 DEG C and 60 DEG C. This pharmaceutical dosage form permits a marked reduction in the effective daily doses of lactulose, and hence a simplification of the dosage (a single dose per day) and better tolerance.</p> |
