Process for the production of moulds (9) made from silicone rubber, especially moulds comprising details in relief having very high definition, with a view to obtaining, by moulding, parts (10) made from plaster, natural or synthetic resins, wax, concrete and the like, comprising the said details in relief, and especially, but not exclusively, houses, monuments and other constructions of small-scale architecture, characterised in that it consists, in a first step, in producing a drawing (1) on a very large scale of the pattern to be obtained, then, in a second step, in producing by photographic reduction a master image on the scale of 1 in positive form of the same pattern, then, in a third step, in etching this pattern in positive form on a plate of photosensitive polymer material, by subjecting this plate covered with this master image to a radiation rich in UV, then by eliminating the biodegraded polymer by washing in hot water and, finally, in transferring this pattern in negative form by moulding a silicone rubber over the said etched plate.
