The invention relates to a connecting device for cables (2, 3), especially for cable intersections of networks, having an integral device body (4) which has at least two through channels (6, 7) (which are separated from one another at least in places by walls (5)) for the cables (2, 3), and having securing elements (8, 9), which fix the cables (2, 3) in the through channels (6, 7). In order to achieve a safe and reliable cable connection with simple production and assembly, and with high strength and low intrinsic weight, the securing elements (8, 9) are constructed as threaded screws which extend in the lateral direction in each case through at least one of the through channels (6, 7) or one of the cables (2, 3). Although the securing elements (8, 9) pass through the respective cable (2, 3) in the lateral direction, as a result of their construction with a thread, for example with a self-tapping or self-forming thread, there is no material damage to the cable. <IMAGE> |
