摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a shift register and a storage device by processing floating point type digital data as musical sound waveform data and converting its musical sound waveform output into linear data. CONSTITUTION:A floating converter 5 adds a dither (random value) to musical sound waveform data and the result is converted into 16-bit floating data, which is supplied to an adder 1. Further, the musical sound waveform data outputted by a delay feedback circuit 10 is supplied to a linear converter 7. The linear converter 7 converts the musical sound waveform data into 27-bit linear data again and supplies the linear data to a trailing sound system, etc. Then random number data is added when the musical sound waveform data is converted into the floating point type digital data. Consequently, a quantization noise becomes small. The shift register and storage device become small.
