Compositions comprising a high molecular weight polyester resin or mixture of such resins, combined with an effective amount of a thermoplastic elastomer, with relatively high loadings of fillers selected from zinc oxide, barium sulfate, zirconium oxide, zirconium silicate, strontium sulfate or a mixture of any of such fillers, provide highly dense thermoplastic molded articles with improved impact strength and properties suitable to replace ceramics and filled thermosets in many important applications. |
