<p>PURPOSE:To use transfer agent with high efficiency and to reduce running cost by setting a scanning line proximate to a diagonal of a square region defined by a transfer member and a tape type transfer agent. CONSTITUTION:A transfer member S is carried in the direction of an arrow I while a tape type transfer agent M is fed out sequentially in the direction of an arrow II crossing with the direction of the arrow I and wound. A scanning line L is set substantially perpendicular to the carrying direction of the transfer member S and the transfer agent M is arranged so that the winding direction thereof makes an angle to the scanning line L. In other words, the scanning line L is set to be aligned substantially with a diagonal of a parallelogram defined by the transfer member S and the transfer agent M. After scanning of the line L, next line L is scanned with the transfer agent M being fed sequentially, by a small amount at a time, in the arrow direction (to the left).</p> |
