PURPOSE:To prevent leaked water dropping and the lowering of productivity by forming a entrance lip of weather strip for sunroof over a extrusion molding member and molding type connection section continuously without any notch and positioning a core drawing out hole inside the entrance of the molding type connection section. CONSTITUTION:The weather strip 3 to be attached along the outer peripheral edge of a sunroof 2 comprises both ends of a extrusion molding member 3A connected at a molding type connection section 3B. The extrusion molding member 3A comprises a mounting base section 31, whose cross section is U shape, the hollow-like sealing section 32 projected from the side face of the mounting base section 31, entrance lip 33 extended downward from the lower part of the hollow-like sealing section, and a separation type core material 34 extruded in a body. In this case, the entrance lip 33 is continuously formed over the extrusion molding member 3A and molding type connecting section 3B without notch.
