<p>PURPOSE:To lower the height of a vehicle to facilitate loading work onto a vehicle in a vehicle device such as a motor-driven tricycle which a driver operates as the driver sits on a driver's seat by making the seat detachable and moreover a steering shaft bendable at its coupling part. CONSTITUTION:During the running of a vehicle, a driver sits on a seat 37, and operates an acceleration lever 14 to control the number of revolutions of an electric motor 25 for driving the vehicle at desired speed, and operates a handle 16 to steer a front wheel 6 through a handle shaft 13, a supporting metal fitting 9, a connecting metal fitting 7 and a steering shaft 3 for controlling the direction of vehicle running. In the case of loading work onto the vehicle, the driver oscillates an operating lever 36 to disengage the engagement between an engaging piece and a notched part for removing the seat 37 and a cover 43 from a vehicle body 1, and then removes a cover 20 from the body 1 together with a backet 21 and lifts a cover 18 along the steering shaft 13, and operates a fixing screw 11 to disengage engagement between the connecting metal fitting 7 and the supporting metal fitting 9 for throwing down the steering shaft 13 backward. Vehicle height can thus be lowered to facilitate loading work onto the vehicle.</p> |
