<p>PURPOSE:To easily determine the direction of a face in the target direction of a ball without looking at the face during addressing by providing a mark serving as a yardstick for holding a grip at such a position that the face is faced to the target direction of the ball when a thumb is set to the mark. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 2 is made of a metal, carbon or other materials. Leather is wound at the upper section of the shaft 2 to form a grip 3. A head 4 is fixed at the lower end of the shaft 2, and a face 4a to drive a ball 8 is provided. The flower pattern, geometric pattern, figurative pattern, animal. pattern and other various patterns may be used for a picture pattern 5 as shown by picture patterns 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d of (a), (b), (c), (d). A mark 6 is part of the picture pattern 5 and is conspicuously provided in particular. The mark 6 is provided in the direction to which a thumb 7a is faced when the face 4a is correctly faced to the target direction of the ball 8.
