PURPOSE:To enhance mass productivity and to allow inexpensive production by using an approximately flat resin substrate and approximately flatly depositing a reflective film deposited thereon as well and forming information pits on this reflective film by a dry etching method. CONSTITUTION:The reflective film 2 is deposited by using a vapor deposition method or sputtering method on the disk-shaped amorphous polyolefin substrate 1 which is approximately flat. The reflective film 2 formed on this flat substrate 1 is an approximately flat film and further, a photosensitive material 3 is applied thereon by a spin coating method. The information data is exposed and transferred onto the photosensitive material 3 of the approximately flat amorphous polyolefin substrate 1 with the reflective film 2 in such a manner, by which the photosensitive material is completed. Bits are then completed by a dry etching method. The optical disk having high accuracy and high density is easily produced in a large quantity in this way and the cost thereof is reduced. |
