A glove, particularly for the sport of golf, comprises a tightening strip (3) which is slightly extensible or non-extensible and is secured at its first end (31) to the dorsal metacarpal region (10). The strip extends over a first length (32) in the direction fo a first axis (X, X') and engages in an intermediate loop (4) rigid with the glove and disposed in an offset manner in the vicinity of the region forming the edge (11) of the glove. The strip then extends over a length (33) from the intermediate loop (4) in the direction of a second axis Y, Y') and ends in a second end (34) fixed in a detachable manner at least partially to the dorsal metacarpal region (10) or to the wrist region (12) of the glove.
