<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate wastefulness of carrying back, redelivery of a package or the like by making a host computer to find out a package transport service agent located nearest to a receiver from a telephone number. CONSTITUTION:Host computer 1 collates the telephone number of a receiver in memory 2 to find out the package transport service shop nearest to a receiver and sends information about scheduled arrival of a package to the terminal device 4 of package transport service agent in advance. Since this information of scheduled package arrival includes a telephone number of the receiver, a package can be delivered to the receiver taking communication with the receiver in advance through the phone. With this, the receiver can prepare for receiving the package, and further waste time and labor of carrying back and redelivering the package due to the absence of the receiver can be reduced.</p> |
