Method for the curative or preventive protection of multiplication products of plants and the plants resulting therefrom against fungal diseases, characterised in that a fungicidal composition comprising an agriculturally acceptable inert carrier, if appropriate a surfactant which is also agriculturally acceptable, and at least one azole of the formula: <IMAGE> in which the substituents have the following preferred meanings: W is -N= or -CH=, R4 = H, X = halogen, n = 1, 2 or 3, R5 is C(R1,R2)CH3 or CH2C(R6,R7)OR8 where R6 and R7 are hydrogen or methyl or together are O, and R8 is a (C1-C3) alkyl, and R1 and R2 are H, alkyl or cycloalkyl, is applied to said multiplication product. The invention also relates to the multiplication products of the plants (in particular the seeds) which are covered with such compounds.
