PURPOSE:To make it difficult to quench a superconducting coil and enable the increase of a degree of freedom of design of forcusing force for charged particles by providing a plurality of cylindrical superconducting coil arranged at a specified position. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting deflecting electromagnet 1 consists of a plurality of cylindrical superconducting coil 11 arranged at a specified position and a cryostat 12 for cooling them. The coil 11 is wound on a cylindrical winding cylinder 13, both end parts of the cylinder 13 are formed in the form of a circular plate and a plurality of holding holes 132 are drilled. A plurality of bosses 121 are set in the inside of the cryostat 12, bolts 14 which are inserted in the holding holes 13 of both end parts are attached to the bosses 121 and fixed at the specified position of the inside of the cryostat 12. |
