PURPOSE:To reduce the using amount of a prewet liquid when the surface of a photosensitive body is maintained in a wet state and a color image is formed by selecting the speed of an air flow controlled by a flowing path control means, by a flowing path selecting means. CONSTITUTION:An excess developing liquid removing mechanism 30 is provided with an air flow supplying means 14, a flowing speed control means 32 controlling the speed of the air flow to the speed of two different stages, at least, and a CPU 34 as the flowing speed selecting means which drives/controls the above-mentioned flowing speed control means 32 and can freely select the speed of the above-mentioned air flow. Developing processing is carried out on a sensitized paper 2 by a yellow developing liquid, and then, an excess developing liquid is removed on the excess developing liquid removing mechanism 30. At this time, a motor 16 is driven via a low speed driving circuit 38, so that a comparatively low speed air flow is injected on the sensitized paper 2, the excess developing liquid on the sensitized paper 2 is prevented from being all removed, and its surface is in a little wetted state. Therefore, it is unnecessary that the prewet liquid 10 is supplied, at the time of a transfer to the next process for developing processing. |
