The attaching device contains a sleeve (1a) which is made of a rigid plastic and is connected at one end to an over-dead-centre lever mechanism (3, 5). Annular extensions (9, 11) are integrally formed on the other end of the sleeve as well as on the free end of the clamping lever of the over-dead-centre lever mechanism. The extensions (9, 11) mutually engage comb-like one inside the other, and a rope end (1) passes through them. The through bores of the annular extensions are in alignment with one another when the over-dead-centre lever mechanism is opened, so that in this release position the rope end can be moved through the openings in order to put it into a desired position. The through bores are laterally staggered by closing the actuating lever, as a result of which the rope end is given a wave-like shape with which it is reliably clamped in place in the openings. The device is particularly suitable for the adjustable fastening of a trapeze rope end to a surfboard boom. <IMAGE> |
