PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the mechanical strength such as tensile strength and bending strength, etc., by a method in which a sheet is formed into cloth-shape by two dimensional fabric or three dimensional fabric of fiber stack and the cloth is impregnated with thermosetting resin and is preheated to a state B. CONSTITUTION:A base sheet 1 is formed by weaving the filament of the reinforcing fiber stock such as carbon fiber or glass fiber, etc., into cloth shape, and the bas sheet 1 is impregnated with thermosetting resin 2 such as polyester, epoxy, phenol and is preheated to a state B. This reinforced plastic sheet for molding is pressed under heating by the press with reduced speed. Since the filament of reinforcing fiber stock constituting the base sheet 1 is woven longitudinally and transversely and is formed into cloth-shape, its is not broken even under quickly folding stress in pressing. Even in the case of relatively thin sheet material, the molded object with uneven complicated and curved surface and various shapes may be molded easily and continuously. |
