PURPOSE:To shorten the time until molding after the completion of heating by using a thermoplastic resin as a base matrix, imparting orientating properties to reinforcing fibers and heating and compression-molding a three-dimensional molding by a continuous cycle from a high-performance fiber-reinforced composite material sheet. CONSTITUTION:A high-performance fiber-reinforced composite material sheet 11 is conveyed to a molding zone by a conveyor from the original position of a device, and the end of the sheet 11 is supported by a sheet clamp 10. A heater 12 is admitted into the molding zone, and the sheet 11 is heated. The sheet 11 is heated at a fixed temperature, the heater 12 is retreated, and cylinders 3 and 8 are driven and the sheet 11 is clamped by upper and lower frames 1, 4. A cylinder 9 is driven and a mold 6 is also brought near to the sheet 11 at that time. The mold 6 is elevated at optimum speed, and the sheet is molded. The cylinder 9 is driven and the mold 6 is lowered, and the upper and lower frames 1, 4 are opened by driving the cylinders 3 and 8, thus extracting a molded form 13. |
