PURPOSE:To provide an oxide superconducting substance consisting of (Y, La, etc.)-Ba-Ca-Cu-O oxide having a specific composition, high critical temperature and large critical current density. CONSTITUTION:The objective oxide superconducting substance is composed of multiple oxides expressed by MBa2-xCaxCu3O7-y [M is at least one kind of lanthanoid element (excluding Ce, Pr, Pm and Tb), Sc and Y; 0<x<=1.8 (excluding x=1), preferably 0.1-0.5 ]. The oxide superconducting substance can be produced by adding 0.01-60wt.% of at least one kind of CaCu2O3, Ca2CuO and CaO to 1mol of MBa2Cu3O7-y. |
