摘要 PURPOSE:To attain reduction in cost and simultaneously, to obtain reliabilities on distance measuring by moving distance measuring points out of the central part in a direction parallel to, at least, short sides out of the long and short sides of a rectangle photographed picture, according to a change in the focal distance of a lens. CONSTITUTION:It is constituted that the distance measuring points A and B moved in the direction parallel to, at least, the short sides out of the long and short sides of the rectangle photographed screen, according to the change in the focal distance of the photographing lens. When a second base plate 7 is moved upward, that is, separated from a first base plate 1, by driving a motor 15 in a wide-angle lens that the focal distance of the photographing lens is short, the points A and B are moved downward up to the position shown by a broken line circle in the direction parallel to the short sides out of the long and short sides of the rectangular photographed screen. On the other hand, when the base plate 7 is moved downward, that is, closed to the base plate 1, by the motor 15, in a telephoto lens that the distance of the photographing lens is long, the points A and B are moved upward up to the position shown by the black circle in the direction parallel to the short sides out of the long and short sides of the rectangular photographed screen. Therefore, a large number of the distance measuring points required for the distance measurement of an object in the prior art are eliminated, so that the number of light emitting elements and light receiving elements can be reduced.
