PURPOSE:To obtain a clock device also serving as a information processor to be replaced with an ID card by providing a portable clock with data processing function, data display function and coding function. CONSTITUTION:A blinking signal from a light-emitting diode 105 is received at a phototransistor 106 and converted to an electric signal. The converted electric signal is amplified and shaped in its waveform by an amplifying and shaping circuit 107 and inputted to a code control circuit 108, so that the data code is interpreted. When this is finished, an interruption signal (INT) 121 is generated so that a program interruption may occur in a microprocessor 130. Consequently, the interpreted data is received at the microprocessor 130 through a data bus I(DATA) 120. Accordingly, an easily portable timer device which can take place of various ID cards such as an operator identification/recognition card, a credit card and a prepaid card can be obtained. |
