PURPOSE:To remove a raw material stuck on the inner surface of a chute and to hold this inner surface in a clean state by providing a short pipe having an aperture to the upper part of the chute for introducing the raw material and constituting a cleaning jig of annular cutters which are capable of being taken out from the aperture and different in the outside diameters and are successively arranged in many steps so that the small-diameter cutters are positioned to the lower part and the large-diameter cutters are positioned to the upper part and equipping a wire rope and a winch device. CONSTITUTION:A short pipe 90 having an aperture 90a to the side wall is provided right above a chute 17 for introducing a raw material. At a time for stopping operation of a vertical type grinder 1, the unshown cover of the aperture 90a is opened. A cleaning device 100 is constituted of a winch device 110, a wire rope 120 and a cleaning jig 130. When deposit consisting of the powdery raw material stuck on the inner surface of the chute 17 is desirous to be removed, operation of the grinder 1 is stopped and the aperture 90a of the short pipe 90 is opened. When the cleaning jig 130 is fitted into the chute 17 and the winch device 110 is rotated and driven via the wire rope 120, the cutters 130a, 130b, 130c of the respective steps of the cleaning jig 130 are successively lowered in the order of the large-diameter cutter from the small-diameter cutter. Accordingly the deposit stuck on the inner surface of the chute 17 is successively cut and peeled to the outside diameter side from the surface layer. |
