<p>PURPOSE:To attain simplification by maintaining an offset between a writing position and a reading position and performing vector processing. CONSTITUTION:An inter-frame difference signal. from a DCT<-1> circuit 108 is added with the reproduction picture signal of the former frame from a motion correction circuit 120 in an adder 114. and a reproduction picture signal evenly indicating the picture contents of the present frame can be obtained. This signal is written in a frame memory 118, and inputted to the circuit 120. When the reproduction picture signal of the reference frame is outputted from the circuit 108, a switch 116 is switched to an (a) side, and the signal is supplied through an adder 114 to the memory 118 and to the circuit 120. The circuit 120 corrects the motion area position in the former frame by the motion vector from a motion vector separation circuit 112. Thus, the motion area part of the former frame is cited by the motion vector and the picture information of the present frame is compressed. Thus, the simplified motion correction circuit can be obtained.</p> |
