<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the overrunning of the engine of the title generator by operating a rotating speed adjusting means to an idling position through an actuator for adjusting rotating speed when the voltage value of the generator abnormally drops from an appropriate value against the frequency value. CONSTITUTION:When a fault, such as short circuit, disconnection, etc., occurs to part of a generator 2, the AC voltage value detected by means of a voltage detecting means 7a abnormally drops, but the frequency value does not show such abnormal drop. Therefore, the voltage value shows an abnormal drop against the frequency value. When a voltage/frequency detecting means 17 detects such abnormal voltage drop, a rotating speed adjusting means 10 is operated to an idling position through an actuator 9 for adjusting rotating speed. Since the voltage/frequency detecting means 17 works to operate the rotating speed adjusting means to the idling position, a voltage comparing means can prevent the overrunning of the engine through the rotating speed adjusting means.</p> |
