<p>PURPOSE:To improve signal-to-noise ratio by dividing the signal from a difference channel into two channels, and shifting, in point of time, the relative signals of respective channels, and taking the difference for generating a distance discriminator. CONSTITUTION:The signal from a difference channel is divided into two by means of a power distributor 13, and one is output to a second correlator 15, and the other is delayed by a first delayer 18 and is output to a third correlator 19. The relative signal of the second correlator 15 and that of the third correlator 19 are input into a subtracter 16, and after the difference has been taken, a distance discriminator is output. Thus, a further higher peak value than the peak value of the distance discriminator that can be obtained by using the conventional orthogonal 0/pi demodulating code can be obtained.</p> |
