PURPOSE:To prevent the surface of a toner carrier from being filmed with toner by adding the copolymer of a monomer and a fluororesin monomer, which have high compatibility with base resin constituting the surface of the toner carrier, thereto. CONSTITUTION:On the way of carrying the toner 1 supplied to the surface of the toner carrier 16 to the side of an image carrier 2, a regulating member 17 is press-contacted to the surface of the carrier 16, the toner 1 is triboelectrified, and the quantity of the toner 1 is regulated. At this time, as the base resin constituting the surface of the carrier 16, for instance, nylon, polycarbonate, etc., are used. On the other hand, the copolymer of the monomer and the fluororesin monomer, which have high compatibility with the base resin such as one that acrylate having a perfluoroalkyl group, dodecyl methacrylate, etc., are copolymerized, is added in the base resin, so that a group including fluorine is efficiently obtained on the surface of the carrier 16 and the filming of the toner is suppressed. |
