PURPOSE:To obtain a seal having low torque and excellent chemical resistance and useful for sliding member by simultaneously curing and bonding a tetrafluoroethylene resin subjected to specific activation treatment and an uncured rubber composition to a metal. CONSTITUTION:The surface of tetrafluoroethylene resin is subjected to activation treatment with a sodium activation compound such as metal sodium or sodium naphthaline and is coated with a resol based phenol resin. The resultant coated tetrafluoroethylene resin and an uncured rubber composition are simultaneously cured and bonded to a metal to provide the objective seal. |
