PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to supply power to an optical fiber storing device by constituting an optical network by means of the fiber storing means in the case of adding or eliminating a station to/from a loop. CONSTITUTION:In the case of moving the station 13 from a port (b) to a port (a), optical fibers 21-1, 21-2 are disconnected from the optical fibers 71-1, 71-2 of the port (b) and a folded optical fiber 82 is connected to the disconnected port (b). On the other hand, a folded optical fiber 81 is disconnected from the port (a) and the fibers 21-1, 21-2 are connected to the optical fibers 71-2, 71-3 of the port (a) instead of the fiber 81. In the case of increasing a station, the fiber 81 is disconnected from the port (a) and an optical fiber for connecting this optical fiber storing device 71 to the additional station is connected to the port (a). |
