PURPOSE:To shorten the time to the start of the next transaction by collating contents of processed bank notes with contents of a preliminarily inputted transaction and starting to take in bank notes to execute the next transaction at the time of recognizing the presence of bank notes by a bank note detecting means of a taking-in part. CONSTITUTION:A control part 7 stores the number of bank notes of each denomination in a RAM 10 in accordance with inputted denominations. The amount of money is calculated by classified and counted number data of each denomination and manually inputted number data of each denomination and is compared with the amount of money inputted as the amount of money on a slip; and when they coincide with each other, the control part 7 drives a shutter device 45 and a pushing-in device 46 of a bank note classifying and counting device 1 to store bank notes P accumulated in an accumulating device 43 in respective storage boxes 44. It is checked by a detector 114 whether bank notes are set to a bank note throwing-in hole 32 or not; and when they are set there, taking- out of bank notes P is automatically started. The transaction is executed in this manner to shorten the time from the end of a transaction to the start of the next transaction. |
