The present invention relates to a heat exchanger, in particular for a radiator, having a heat exchanger block (2) consisting of a tube bundle (bunch) (3) having fins (6) which open out into at least one liquid header box (4, 5), lateral parts or cross-members (9) which are arranged on the lateral edges of the block (2) and are joined to one another by at least one tension element (10) which is arranged at each front side of the said block.
