PURPOSE:To reduce the full width of a transmission case by connecting a duct to lead in the cooling air to a motor on the upper side of the transmission case within the width of the transmission case in the lateral direction, in a car body of a motor cycle and the like including a transmission case pivoted to the car body to fluctuate freely. CONSTITUTION:A power unit P of a scooter type motorcycle furnishes a transmission case 13 whose front end is pivoted through a pivot 5, and a motor M provided at the front side and a reduction gear 14 provided at the rear side are connected through a belt type continuously variable transmission(CVT). At the right end of the rotation shaft 19 of the motor M, a cooling fan is provided positioning at the inside of a motor housing. In this case, at the intermediate position between the motor M and the belt type CVT at the upper side of the transmission case 13, the lower end of a flexible duct 23 to lead in the cooling air to the motor housing is connected, and its upper end is communicated to the inside of a container 9. Consequently, the expansion of the duct 23 from the side surfaces of the transmission case 13 increasing the full width can be avoided. |
