摘要 PURPOSE:To manufacture raw material alloy powder in a safe and excellent environment by using solvent having extremely low oxygen concn. at the time of mamufacturing power for magnet as raw material and executing wet-type pulverizing at the time of manufacturing a permanent magnet containing rare earth metal and transition metal as the essential component with bond method or sintering method. CONSTITUTION:An alloy ingot as a raw material of rare earth metal magmet containing the rare earth metal of Sm, etc., and the transition metal of Fe, Co, etc., as the essential component is finely pulverized to powder-state and this powder is compacted and solidified to manufacture the rare earth metal magnet. In this case, by using water, etc., having <=10ppm dessolved oxygen content as the solvent used to the wet-type pulverizing to the raw material alloy, the wet-pulverizing is executed in non-oxidizing atmosphere. As organic series solvent having adverse in-fluence to human body, environment, etc., is not used as the conventional method, the rare earth metal magnet having excellent magnet characteristic can be stably manufactured.
