PURPOSE:To permit the control of the transfer of heat and the insulation of heat to make living environment comfortable by a method wherein a loop, whose vertical parts are connected thermally to an outer wall and an inner wall while a control valve is provided in the horizontal part of the lower side of the loop, is provided between the outer wall and the inner wall. CONSTITUTION:A wall body is constituted of a looped heat pipe 5, whose vertical parts contains wicks are connected thermally to an outer wall body 6 and an inner wall body 7 utilized as a heat absorbing section and a heat dissipating section, and a space 8 between both wall bodies while heat insulating material 9 is inserted into the space 8 if necessary and a solenoid valve 10, controlling the flow of heating medium 3, is provided in the lower horizontal part of the loop. The solenoid valve 10 is controlled by a controller 14 inputting a temperature signal from an indoor temperature sensor 12 and an outdoor temperature sensor 13. The transfer of heat is controlled by comparing the temperature shown by an outdoor temperature sensor 13 provided in the outer wall body 6 with a temperature shown by an indoor temperature sensor 12 provided in the inner wall body by a controller 14. When heat is desired to be transferred from a wall having higher temperature to another wall having a lower temperature, the control valve is opened by the controller to transfer heat and make the indoor side or an indoor environment comfortable but when the transfer of heat is not desired, the control valve is closed to prevent the invasion of heat and keep the indoor environment comfortable. |
