PURPOSE:To absorb shock for each lamp device, and thereby reduce possible damage to each lamp device by enhancing the initial stiffness of a bumper at the time of collision with reinforcements integrally formed into a hollow shape high in stiffness, and concurrently protecting each lamp device by each opening periphery formed in the reinforcements. CONSTITUTION:A front bumper 7 is integrally formed with reinforcements 2 so as to be bonded together at the inner section of each bumper section 4 roughly in a recessed section in cross section via each foam member 3, and a part of each bumper face 4 is opened inward at each side end of it, so that each lamp hole 5 is thereby provided wherein each lamp device 6 is housed. Each reinforcement 2 is made of urethane resin by means of injection molding while being formed integrally into a hollow shape high in stiffness where its cross section at the center is a closed one roughly in a rectangular shape. Opening sections 8 are formed at each end side of the bumper while being adjusted to each lamp hole 5 of the bumper face 4 in such a way that closed cross sections 11 and 12 are formed at the upper and lower sections, and flange shaped opening peripheries 9 are formed in the inner circumference of the opening. And a frame backing section 2a high in stiffness is provided for both of the end sections of the bumper while being largely projected afterward, so that stiffness combined with a frame 25 is thereby secured. |
