<p>PURPOSE:To produce SHOCHU having the taste and flavor of tea as well as the unique smell of SHOCHU, by distilling the brewed tea liquid, and using the distillate as the water for diluting the SHOCHU. CONSTITUTION:Tea leaves of common green tea, green tea of middle grade, coarse tea, etc. or brewed tea liquid are immersed in hot water for about half a day to extract the tea component to the water. The extract solution is distilled, and the distillate is used as the diluting water for SHOCHU produced by conventional method, or preferably for SHOCHU obtained by adding tea leaves or brewed tea to unrefined SHOCHU and fermenting the mixture.</p> |
