PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a plant and shorten the time for starting by circulating the fuel gas at the time of starting to a fuel modification processing device via a circulation line for starting and a bypass line. CONSTITUTION:In case the temp. of a fuel cell is to be raised when a plant is started, No.2 shutoff valve 11 installed in a fuel circulation line A is closed while No.1 shutoff valve 10 mounted in a circulation line for starting B is opened, and further a crude fuel shutoff valve furnished upstream of a natural gas compressor 1 is closed. Part of the fuel gas given out of a fuel modifying device 4 is fed to the compressor 1, and after pressure boosting and temp. rise at this compressor 1, gas for temp. rising is circulated to the processing device 4 while routing an after-cooler bypass line C. After a further temp. rising of fuel gas with the processing device 4, the temp. of the fuel cell 5 is raised. |
