PURPOSE:To improve yield and improve the squareness of an end face favorable and decrease the dispersion of waviness on the outside of a work by performing the molding in such a mold that the end faces of a magnet becomes parallel or that the centers of the end faces get recessed. CONSTITUTION:SrCo3 and Fe2O3 are blended, and further SiO2 is added, and those are mixed enough, and are calcined into ferrite, and then it is chushed to get magnetic powder. Water is added to this to make it into slurry, and then it is finely crushed to get pulverized slurry. This is charged in a mold for molding, which has such corresponding shape that the longitudinal end face get recessed at the center when a magnetic field is applied, and then it is pressurized and dehydrated and molded, and sintering is performed to it, thus works are gotten, and those are supplied continuously to a posture grinder. By designing the mold into a recess, allowing for the amounts of the shrinkage and deformation after sintering of an arc segment magnet (ferrite magnet), for the compact, which is molded correspondingly to have a projection, the end face becomes vertical after sintering. |
