发明名称 SPOT WELDING METHOD OF DIFFERENT METALS OF AL-FE SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To completely prevent the formation of an intermetallic compd. and to improve joining efficiency by interposing Mg or Mg alloy between Al and Fe to form a three-layered structure and subjecting this three-layered structure to spot welding. CONSTITUTION:The Mg plate or Mg alloy plate 3 is interposed between the welding surfaces of an Al plate 1 and an Fe plate 2 to form the three-layered structure and this structure is spot welded at the time of superposing these plates and subjecting the plates to spot welding. The Al and the Fe are not in direct contact with each other in the initial period of welding and, therefore, the generation of the detrimental intermetallic compd. layer formed by the heat at the time of welding is suppressed. The Mg or Mg alloy layer existing in the joint part at this time is melted and splashed by the heat at the time of the welding and finally, the Al and the Fe are eventually directly joined. The sufficient tensile strength of the joint surfaces is obtd.
