PURPOSE:To smooth a stepwise rugged part of a graph due to the anti-aliasing processing from the visual point of view by controlling a shutter means freely switched arranged to an aperture part in a picture output means and provided to plural areas in response to a picture data. CONSTITUTION:An aperture 582 is provided with a liquid crystal shutter, which changes a shape of the aperture. The liquid crystal shutter is switched at a high speed by a liquid crystal shutter driver 593 based on a signal from a RAM 591 and in the case of T1, since no sub pixel is filled, all the liquid crystal shutters are closed. In the case of T2, since lower sub pixels are filled, the lower liquid crystal shutters are opened. In the case of T3, since the upper, middle, lower sub pixels are filled, the upper, middle, lower liquid crystal shutters are opened. The processing above is sequentially executed as to all dots. When the processing above is executed, a latent image of the same shape as the sub pixels is formed. |
