Platform consisting of a lower bed plate, the rocking arm, the lifting bed plate, the assembly of electric cylinders and the pedals with their controls and electrical connections. Actuation of the two cylinders which act crosswise with respect to the inclined plane of the rocking arm allows the platform to rise horizontally whilst use of one or other cylinder makes it possible to tilt the platform and therefore the stretcher either so that the head region is lower or the foot region is lower. <IMAGE>
