PURPOSE:To realize an excellent acoustic characteristic by generating a compensation signal to be a sound wave of an opposite phase with respect to a reflected sound wave and generating further a compensation signal so as to be a sound wave of an opposite phase with respect to the reflected sound wave caused by the radiation of the compensation signal sound. CONSTITUTION:A compensation means 26 is provided to the device to apply delay and level adjustment to an original signal thereby generating a compensation signal so that a sound wave of an opposite phase is produced with respect to a reflected sound wave, and the compensation means 26 generates a compensation signal to be a sound wave of opposite phase with respect to a reflection sound wave caused by the radiation from a speaker 7 of a compensation signal sound. That is, the compensation signal is generated to cancel the reflection sound by the original signal sound at the listening position and the compensation sound radiates, and the compensation signal is generated to cancel the reflection sound by the compensation sound at the listening position and the compensation sound radiates and the processing above is repeated. Thus, a dip of a sound pressure frequency characteristic at the listening position is prevented and an excellent acoustic characteristic is realized. |
