PURPOSE:To apply a synchronizing signal, whose use range is furthermore extended, to a computer by analyzing frequencies of sounds of music which does not have a synchronizing signal and using knowledge, data, or the like related to tempo to generate a synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal generating means 5 obtains fundamental tempo information in accordance with the peak value of the power envelope obtained from the audio signal from a medium reproducing device 1 through a spectrum analyzer 4. A part where the power and its peak values are difficult to obtain is corrected by tempo information inputted from a real time tact input device 3, and spectrum information peculiar to the classification of a musical instrument in general information is used to correct the peak value of the power envelope with respect to time position. Fundamental information is used to not only confirm the whole of information but also correct the part which does not match with fundamental data, and corrected fundamental tempo information is outputted. Thus, this device is widely applied to the interlocking operation of an illuminate conforming to tempo, synchronous additional performance of an automatic playing device, etc. |
