PURPOSE:To connect flat tower cables with each other easily by providing a plural pairs of connection conductor plates, a casing to dispose the pairs of connection conductor plates in parallel along the thickness through insulation, and a pressor mechanism to apply a pressure on the direction of the thickness to the connection conductor plate positioned at an end part. CONSTITUTION:Cable conductors 4U-4W of different phases of flat power cables 4 are inserted into a cover member 2 to be inserted and disposed between pairs of connection conductors 6A and 6B, 7A and 7B, and 8A and 8B respectively, and the cable conductors 4U-4W are engaged in engagement grooves 9. Cable conductors of different phases of the other flat power cables 5 to be connected are inserted into a cover member 3 to be inserted and disposed between pairs of connection conductor plates 6A and 6B, 7A and 7B, and 8A and 8B, and the cable conductors are engaged in engagement grooves 10. A pressure adjusting bolt 19 is then rotated, and a wedge member 118 is moved up to move a wedge member 17, and a pressure in the direction of the thickness of the connection conductor plate 8B is applied to it through an insulation 12. The flat rower cables can thus be connected with each other easily. |
