PURPOSE:To change the color for each character of words on a displayed picture approximately in accordance with the advance of the main melody of a music by including word display/erase instruction information, color change indication information, and color change width information in words display indication information stored in musical sound information storage part. CONSTITUTION:Words display indication information including words display/ erase instruction information, color change instruction information for words character display, and color change width information is stored in a musical sound information storage part 12 as digital musical sound information together with playing information. Consequently, a control part 10 performs the control to display words stored in a video storage part 14a on the picture based on a words display instruction signal and to change the color of characters of words based on color change instruction information for the character display color change of words. Not only the color of each character is changed but also the color is successively changed by prescribed width of characters by color change width information added to color change instruction information. Thus, the color of characters is accurately changed in accordance with the reproducing timing of sounds of the main melody. |
