PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic permeability, magnetic shielding effect, spot weldability and hot workability of magnetic shielding parts by specifying the content of Ni, Cu, Mn, Si and Mo in an Fe allay. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic shielding parts are formed of an allay constituted of, by weight, 55 to 85% Ni, 0.5 to 3% Cu, 3 to 27% Mn, 0.1 to 2% Si, <=8% Mo and the balance substantial Fe with inevitable impurities. Ni is essential for obtaining its high magnetic permeability. Cu is effective for improving its magnetic permeability in the same manner as Ni. Mn is effective for improving its magnetic permeability and furthermore increases its spot weldability. Si is effective for increasing its magnetic properties, particularly its magnetic shielding effect. Mo improves its magnetic permeability. Moreover, at the time of reducing the content of Cu compared to that of Mn, its wear amt. is improved. By the allay having the above compsn., an excellent magnetic shielding effect can be obtd. even by magnetic annealing at a relatively low temp. |
